All about me

For over 30 years, I worked in education - a profession where change is not an occasional event, but a constant.

I began teaching three decades ago, and in that time the profession has transformed repeatedly. Technology reshaped the classroom. The curriculum, standards, delivery, and expectations evolved continuously. The demands placed on teachers increased - emotionally, mentally, and physically.

Across 25 years in seven different schools, I worked in a wide range of roles: classroom teacher, subject leader, student mentor, senior leadership and school governor. Each role required adaptation, resilience, and the ability to navigate uncertainty.

Along the way, I experienced self-doubt, internal conflict, difficult conversations - both with myself and with others. I learned what it means to keep functioning while change keeps arriving.

Then came a serious illness - sudden and unexpected - that forced a deeper reckoning. It changed how I saw my work, my body, my energy, and my life balance.

It became the moment where I chose to reinvent myself, rather than return to what no longer fits.I  help women at career crossroads make clear, embodied decisions, so they stop over thinking and move forward with grounded confidence.

I don’t believe you need a five-year plan, or to be fearless, or to start over. What I know - from experience - is that real change begins when you create space to listen to your body and find a way forward that doesn’t cost you your health.

I work with experienced women who are feeling the call for change but don’t want another high-pressure reinvention. Women who have given decades of service, who are capable, committed, and quietly exhausted. You may know you can’t continue as you are, even if you’re not yet clear on what comes next.

My work supports career transition through a somatic approach that honours your nervous system, your health, and your lived experience. This isn’t about pushing through or forcing clarity. It’s about slowing down, tuning in, and allowing your next chapter to emerge in a way your body can actually sustain.

I understand what it means to hold responsibility, to care deeply, and to keep going even when your body is asking for something different. I don’t coach from theory alone - I coach from experience, with depth, compassion, and practicality.

If your body is asking for change and you are looking for calm, thoughtful and a sustainable way forward. I invite you to book a discovery call and explore whether this work is right for you.
